Marilee Kahler is a high-performing, relationship-driven REALTOR® serving the greater Waco area. She has built a thriving business on strategy, trust, and care—earning recognition at her previous brokerage as the #1 local agent in McLennan County in 2019, just before welcoming her twins in early 2020, and again in 2024. Today, she remains among the top 5% of local agents, guiding clients through major life transitions with calm confidence, resilient focus, and expert insight.
Marilee graduated from Baylor University in 2009 with a BBA in Real Estate and Marketing, launched her career in commercial real estate, and by 2011 had earned her TREC sales license and joined a local real estate, where she shifted her focus primarily to residential sales. She quickly developed expertise in short sales and foreclosures, working with banks and asset managers, giving her a deep understanding of complex transactions and attracting a loyal following of investors.
Her commitment to excellence is further distinguished by her GRI (Graduate, REALTOR® Institute) designation, which equips her with advanced expertise in contracts, negotiations, legal matters, and technology. Marilee has also served in leadership with the Waco Association of REALTORS® and is a graduate of both the Texas REALTORS® Leadership Program and Leadership Waco, experiences that sharpened her communication, community engagement, and strategic thinking.
Beyond her professional record, Marilee is a committed community leader. Through the Waco Chamber of Commerce, she served as President of Waco Young Professionals, sat on the Chamber board, and contributed to the Attraction & Retention Committee. She’s also an eight-year BNI member and an active member of Harris Creek Baptist Church. In all she does—from guiding clients to raising four kids—Marilee shows up with resilience and care. As a Tae Kwon Do black belt, she brings the same grit, focus, and disciplined energy to her real estate career, transforming challenges into opportunities for her clients.
From relocating families to luxury estates, complex listings, and farm and ranch properties, Marilee thrives on creating solutions that move her clients forward. She partners with buyers and sellers to grow investment portfolios, optimize short-term rentals, and subdivide land, while bringing clarity and care to family and estate transitions. At home, Marilee and her husband, Kris—head boys’ soccer coach at Midway ISD—raise their four children along the Middle Bosque River in McGregor, where life is shaped by soccer seasons, river sunsets, farm animals, and big plans for what’s ahead.
