Hello, I’m John Williams, a successful leader passionate about impacting lives and improving the community.
As an extension of my passion for helping the community, I am a licensed REALTOR® with AXIO Real Estate. I am dedicated to serving and positively impacting families by effectively representing them in the home buying process.
In addition to being a REALTOR®, I am a valued professor at McLennan Community College, where I teach federal and state government. Additionally, I served 3 years as an elected member of the City of Woodway City Council, and I have worked for more than 20 years as a municipal government leader and community advocate, holding senior positions in parks and recreation, public works, code enforcement, and the non-profit sector, focusing on neighborhood improvement. Before serving in local government, I served with distinction in the US Army. Given my work history, I believe that I am a great ambassador for current and future families in our community seeking a new home.
I grew up in Muncie, Indiana, and obtained my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Indiana University Bloomington. Texans at heart, my wife, Yvonne, and I have been married for 39 years. We formerly lived in Sugar Land, TX, but are now proud residents of Woodway. We are the proud parents of three grown sons and have one beautiful granddaughter.
